Many people use computers and others use cell phones. Two common applications used for communication are SMS and emails. Both are used to communicate with other people. However, these two apps have their similarities and differences. Each has its advantage and disadvantage. In the end, they are two different inventions used constantly in the world of social media. Email and texting are similar in many ways. First, someone is able to connect with other people with these forms of messaging. For example, if you want to reach a friend from a different state. They could text or email their friend. It is clear that these types of messaging are faster than making a call or sending a letter. Sending a letter may take several days before the person receives the letter. This assumes there was nothing wrong with the postal system. When you send an email or message, people receive it immediately. In any case, it is also possible to send files via these forms of messaging. An example of this is when a teenager wants to show her grandparents her prom dress without worrying about ruining it. They would take a photo and send it over the phone or via email. Both were invented at the end of the 20th century. Another notable point is that both adults and children use these messaging systems. Finally, both of these messaging systems take time to respond. When a friend sends a message, assuming the recipient is near the phone, they might respond in about a minute or two. When you send an email, it may take anywhere from an hour to a few days for a response. These are what make email and SMS similar. However, they have their perceptible differences. Unmistakably, the messages... in the center of the paper... in jerks. When people send an email, they are able to email a physical document, essay, or resume via cable. The disadvantage of sending an email is that you would need to use the Internet. Texting isn't limited to the Internet. So, if you want to send an emergency message, sending SMS would be the best option. In the end, sending an email has its own defining characteristics. In conclusion, texting and emailing are similar and different in various ways. If you want to send a letter to an old friend, email would be the best option. However, if you want to contact a friend immediately, SMS would be the fastest option. No matter what people use, they are both equally capable of transmitting messages back and forth. Different people have different methods of sending a message. However, overall, these efficient ways of sending messages are used every day.
