Labor RelationsLegacy Roofing is a non-unionized company, so dealing with labor relations will involve acting as an intermediary for employees and employers/management. It will also include addressing concerns relating to grievance procedures raised by complaining employees. Additionally, managing employment relationships will mean working directly with managers on the contractual agreement of the employment contract. Health and Safety Since the roofing industry is a very dangerous line of work, it is the responsibility of the human resources department to keep up with current OSHA and WISHA laws to not only protect the employees, but also the company. The Human Resources department will also be responsible for implementing safety training and procedures and adding this information to new employee orientations. It will also be HR's responsibility to follow up and investigate any injuries or incidents reported to the foreman while on the job (OSHA,2013). Equity
