In my ethics course, I was taught several principles related to decision making. Nursing school taught me several issues that I can address in my career. One of the biggest ethical issues I have learned is patient confidentiality. We will never disclose any information to unauthorized personnel without the patient's consent. We have an ethical obligation to ensure patient confidentiality and not to violate it.
