A question many Christians ask is whether God is currently working in their immediate lives. Most, if not all, Christians are aware that God is a present being within His creation, yet some question whether He is actually involved in their real life. For me, I would say that I believe that God has an immediate presence in my life and has had a hand in my vocation. I plan to become a lawyer, an American diplomat or maybe a politician. I believe God is actively involved in law and politics. Law and politics are the fundamental policies that hold the country and most of society as a whole together. Overall, God has made a plan for me to take up this vocation to not only maintain social order but also to eliminate the corruption that has intensified over the years. God is a being who gives orders and has expectations. In our society, we have the same mental structure. We want our citizens to be civil, orderly and overall dignified in their daily lives. Unfortunately, not all citizens believe this to be the case and rebel. I was raised to live the most righteous lifestyle possible, so those who disobeyed the law confused me growing up. This is the main reason why I believe God is pushing me to become a lawyer. God has influence on how we grow up and how we see the world around us. Growing up in the post-9/11 era, our society has seen atrocities, scandals, and cover-ups. I believe God gave me this passion for law so that I can change our society…. Today it is the nations of the Middle East that need to be focused and the call of God has been ingrained in me to help His mission. As a final point, God has and still works actively in the fields of law, government, and diplomacy. The Bible is the definitive word of God, and from it God has stated that he has given those who have the authority to run society, and that those who can travel and evangelize the world should do so in his name. God has a specific plan for those who want to enter this vocation. For a lawyer or politician, it's about keeping society safe and following the laws established by God. As a diplomat, it's about spreading democracy and also trying to spread the gospel to those you can reach. Overall, I believe God has placed me in the perfect calling for my best interest and also His will. In this case, no matter the vocation I choose, I will live by the influence of God.
