Hassan said it was not possible to consider what Britain was like before the rock band. They changed a number of things such as “the image of England, the music, the culture, the fashion, the attitude towards categories”. (Hassan) They have created a stronger, more robust and more dynamic place for people all over the planet. Before the rock band, Britain was a “stifling, relegated and category-ridden society”. (Hassan) although they changed several things, they didn't change everything themselves. It began with a revolution that had already been planted in the 1950s. The rock band mattered for a variety of reasons. the main and main reason was clearly the music. Transitions from “hesitant, nervous, rudimentary harmonies… to psychedelic experimentation”. (Hassan) So each with their own perspective temperament that created them 'the pleasant Four.' There was "John (the sour one), Paul (the nice one), St. George (the silent one), and Ringo (the adorable one)." (Hassan) As time went by they were seen differently. John became the cool of rock and roll. Paul became the lightweight team that was boosted by McCartney's solo selections and also by the singer-songwriter's assassination in 1980. They changed the way music was appreciated and viewed. people began to think of "musicians as serious creators". (Hassan) They also changed the way music was written. The appeal of the rock band is about "the ingenuity, exuberance and variety of the music". (Hassan) It's also about where and what the sixties represent and also the place of the rock band in them. The 1960s represented the cultural end of the shadow of War II hanging over society. people are starting to “forget about…… half paper…… rt records all over the world. 2.3 million copies were sold within the first 5 days in North America, Japan and also the United Kingdom. In the first decade of the twenty-first century, the rock group's greatest hits compilation has sold eleven.4 million copies, compared to the other album. Grammy voters were generous to the rock band, "awarding a modest seven trophies". (Gundersen) Works Cited Hassan, Gerry. "How the Beatles changed Britain and the world."
