Political Essay Letting Donald Trump rule our country would be like letting the Devil himself take control of America. Trump was born and raised in Queens, New York. He was introduced to the business world at an early age while working with his father on architectural developments in Queens, New York and Brooklyn, New York. His successes include the television show "The Apprentice", a thriving real estate business and many successful architectural projects. On June 6, 2015, Trump announced his candidacy for president, seeking the Republican Party's nomination. Donald Trump has proven himself to be a horrible candidate and would lead America to ruin. First of all, he is not a logical man; his plans for our country are irrational. Donald Trump discriminates against many groups of people by proving that he is not a valid presidential candidate. He brutally insults women without showing any remorse. In recent years he has attacked many women, including: former Playboy playmate Rosie O Donnell and Megyn Kelly. The most recent was the attack on Megyn Kelly; in an interview, Kelly asked Trump questions about his critical comments about women. Trump later claims that his difficult questions for him were due to "blood coming out of everything," referring to a woman's menstrual cycle. This not only shows the thoughtlessness he has towards women and lack of respect for their bodies, but also shows how insensitive and cold he is. He attacks the woman and speaks without thinking. He later called her an idiot on Twitter and did not apologize for any of his rude remarks towards Kelly. Trump also discriminates against Mexico and Mexicans. “When Mexico sends its people,” Trump said during his presidential announcement, “they don't send the best.” He also refers to all Mexicans as drug lords and rapists. Another act of demonstrating his antipathy towards the Mexican/Latino community occurred during a Donald Trump event where he kicked out a Univision host for asking a question. His immigration reform refers exclusively to our southern country, Mexico, as he states that there will be a wall across the southern border. The proposal also states that every immigrant will be saved. Some people may say that Trump is a solid candidate and will be able to rid our country of all debt thanks to his in-depth knowledge, business experience and ability to make money. But what good is this from a lying and inconsiderate man? No matter how good he is with money, Trump has proven to be very selfish. How do you know it wouldn't scam us and make our economy worse?
