Ms. Cecile Richards, a leader of Planned Parenthood, made the case for the videos while testifying before the White House. In the New York Times, Representative Jason Chaffetz had a good amount to say as a "pro-life" advocate about his hearing. He proposes the idea that all the money intended to support Planned Parenthood should be used more effectively. He gives examples such as various types of cancer. He also states his opinion on Planned Parenthood and gives this quote: "Planned Parenthood has absolutely nothing to do with providing health care to women, it's just a political business." One of Chaffetz's points was Richards' apology that he made during the hearing. Her specific words were that she "apologized because she found it 'inappropriate' that the doctor in the video had a clinical discussion in a non-confidential, non-clinical setting".
