The introduction of devices such as electronic whiteboards, laptops, etc. in the learning environment, has led to a phenomenal increase in Japanese students' understanding in the classroom(). Teachers provide a deeper understanding of a topic discussed in class by presenting relevant images and videos. ICT also promotes interaction between students and teachers outside the classroom as teachers are just an email away. In Nigeria, teachers in public and private schools have approached the topic of ICT use in the classroom with fierce disapproval. ICT devices are believed to actually hinder classroom learning by reducing students' classroom participation ().
