Since we do not have the freedom to choose our past experiences, and these past experiences influence our ability to make choices and perform actions, it is difficult to say with absolute decisiveness that man is in fact free and has full responsibility for everything. At the very least, Sartre has no choice but to admit that there are individuals out there who do not have the same amount of freedom as other individuals and therefore cannot stand the same amount of freedom.
