A myriad of accidents occur every day in the United States. Accidents occur when hazards escape detection through prevention measures. This may occur during a job or safety assessment. Therefore, as stated by Firstline, a safety management company, “when the hazards causing an accident are unaware of, an accident investigation may identify previously overlooked environmental, physical, administrative, or process hazards.” Therefore, the main objective of an accident investigation is the determination of the evidence and facts relating to the accident and the measures that can be taken to prevent future events. How a car accident is evaluated.
