With the Eng 201 Business writing course I acquired good experience and good preparation to enter the business market in a professional way. The experience I have gained will give me the opportunity to broaden my qualification. However, we have experimented with business writing by writing several articles such as; resume and cover letter, research project and proposal, website advice memo, and marketing plan. Initially, we had the assignment of the resume and cover letter. I learned how to look for a job that is relevant to my strengths and abilities. The resume and cover letter are making a first impression on my potential employer since I don't physically speak for myself. However, I have learned to make a positive impression while communicating my strengths and abilities to my potential employer. Therefore, from the resume assignment I learned to introduce myself to my potential employer by writing a summary of myself, and then listing my experience with an adequate description of each job. At the end I listed my education certificate. With the cover letter, I learned how to write a cover letter to the person responsible for hiring employees by introducing myself and providing detailed background by choosing my words wisely and showing the tangible results I have achieved. At the end of the cover letter, write a closing message kindly thanking the person. The second task was a research report and proposal to the administration. This assignment was about how to improve any project by researching the project's weaknesses and describing my main goals of the project. I learned how to collect data, how to meet with shareholders, and what resources are needed to complete potential changes. Absolutely, I'm learning what... middle of paper... is most important in this assignment, but more practice will be needed in the future, especially as I plan to earn my master's degree in Marketing. In conclusion, at By the end of this course I can see the big picture of the classroom. I found that this course has very professionally designed objectives to allow students to explore communication concepts in business. I like in this course that we developed the task gradually. For example, you write the introduction and then get the feedback, which helps me a lot to improve my article. This course inspired me and broadened my perspective on many keys to a successful career. Therefore, as long as I have acquired these elements of success that have helped me in my career and I understand the main concepts of this course, I believe I deserve at least A- for this course because of the knowledge I have acquired and having grasped the objectives of this course.
