Pinterest is a common social network used by many people today. Pinterest is an image-based social networking site where people can pin or repin and like things they are interested in. In the four years of its existence it has revolutionized many things on the Internet and in everyday life. Pinterest has many positive aspects to its existence, such as modernizing the way of designing the web as a whole. It showed new and effective ways to design many different social networks. It is definitely breaking new ground for social networks. A downside however is the influence on people. There's a big fitness craze happening on Pinterest and similar social networking sites. It seems like it might be good, but there is such a thing as too much exercise. Food is a very popular topic on Pinterest. With popularity, the vision we have of food can change and our expectations can increase. Another very important theme on Pinterest is weddings. There are always brides-to-be planning their big days with Pinterest. Overall it actually made the task a little more bearable for those involved. Pinterest is in fact an important social network; it has made amazing changes to the design of the network and also to the way we view food and the way people plan large events like weddings. Pinterest is one of today's emerging social networks. Today's major networks are commonly known as Facebook and Twitter, but Pinterest is coming right behind them.
