Everyone seemed to get along very well, as demonstrated by everything that happened unanimously. Plus, the community seemed to really support them, although that might just be because it was a great day of appreciation for the teachers, students, and board. The superintendent seemed like a nice guy, he didn't say anything the whole time except to support all the motions. I felt like overall the board was mostly made up of trustees. I felt this way because they never mentioned specific community members in their decisions and seemed to act quite autonomously without community guidance. It really felt like the community had handed the district over to these people and they were running it themselves. It didn't feel like they were playing any kind of political game, it just felt like seven knowledgeable people making decisions for the community. The only exception to this were members Dave Crockett and Lori Johnson, whose terms lasted only six months, which led me to think that their districts like to keep a delegation system in place, but they didn't seem to behave in this way. As for the superintendent, I have no idea what kind of role he has, because he hasn't done anything about it
