Muhammad Ali (Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr.) is undoubtedly the most famous, talented and greatest heavyweight athlete and boxer of all time. Muhammad Ali inspired millions of people around the world with his powerful and inspirational personality. For this assignment I selected two different images of Muhammad Ali, one in color and one in black and white, published in two different newspapers in different time periods. Even though the two photos were taken at different times and in different situations, both images show Muhammad Ali's strong and dynamic body language. The first photo was taken on April 28, 1967 when Muhammad Ali was reported in Houston for refusing the Army warrant. In 1967, during the Vietnam War, Muhammad Ali was drafted into the US military but refused to enlist. Muhammad Ali's refusal to serve in the Vietnam War led to his persecution by the government and his sentencing to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
