Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorderAttention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a prevalent disorder in which individuals demonstrate difficulty with attention and/or control of impulses and hyperactive behavior compared to most individuals of the same age and sex (Barkley & Mash, 2009). It is known that, along with ADHD, significant deficits in many areas are prevalent, including education, family, and peer relationships. To diagnose a child with ADHD he or she must exhibit a pattern of inattentive, impulsive, and hyperactive behaviors over a 6-month period, which should be present at school and at home and which significantly impair daily functioning (Daley & Birchwood, 2010). . Evaluation of ADHD can provide a clear understanding of the functional deficit and a solid basis for initiating treatment, including which problems to prioritize. ADHD is most commonly treated with medications, classroom behavior interventions, and parent training (Barkley & Mash, 2009). Major Behavioral Concerns ADHD is accompanied by many behavioral concerns. Disorder-related syndromes are associated with a variety of problems, including cognitive deficits, poor academic performance, and impaired social functioning (Chiao-Ling, Yu-Kai, Yuan-Shuo, Chia-Hao, Chung-Ju, and Tsung-Min , 2013).
