Topic > Downsides of Globalization - 1179
Once America began trading with other countries, which could provide goods at much cheaper prices, manufacturing jobs saw a decline similar to that of manufacturing jobs. I worked in agriculture previously. Other developing countries involved in trade with more mature economies are able to pay employees less, giving them the ability to sell goods cheaper than those made elsewhere. Furthermore, even if it is not a simple process and not necessarily guaranteed, the inclusion of developing countries in the global market still helps to give a boost.
