InterludeIntroductionThis chapter provides a roadmap for the second part of the thesis. Chapters five through eight contain the stories of the participants, organizational energies, and my engagement in experiences of action and reflection to explore issues in the participants' everyday organizational lives. Chapter nine is a synthesis of all the stories and an exploration of the cross-cutting themes of the experiences, while chapter ten concludes the thesis with implications and conclusions. This interlude offers information on why individual participants' chapters are written in letter form, an explanation of the tarot cards, and instructions on how to read transcript excerpts within the letters. This interlude is a moment to shift gears from theoretical frameworks to the more intimate dynamic experience that has been the research. It's time to gather the tools you need to help witness and engage; just like the experience of a play or a symphony. Letters as a Way to Create Intimacy There is a moment in the middle of a bat mitzvah (Jewish coming of age ceremony) when the bat mitzvah and her parents have a chance to talk. Parents' speeches usually fall into two genres, those that speak directly to the congregation about their child, his or her accomplishments, and his or her personality. The other is parents who speak directly to the child (sometimes in the form of a letter) about their feelings and reflections on the child's life experiences and achievements, as well as the relationship. Those who speak directly to the child let the faithful listen to and experience the child by listening to the parents' feelings and reflections. There is intimacy and “reflection” in this process. The parents and the gr... middle of the paper... are more than silence. There is active work and dialogue going on during the silence and I ask you to keep this in mind whenever you encounter a significant pause. Additionally, I included moments of laughter and other expressions to give you an idea of the mood at the time the conversations were taking place. Conclusion In subsequent chapters, the reader enters into the experiences of each participant. Each letter is the story of the work that took place between the participant, me and the organizational energy. Each participant's experience was unique and at the same time similar to the experiences of others. Each letter highlights the uniqueness and highlights of the work. Chapter nine – the cross-experience chapter – will show how experiences connect to each other and reveal the rich experience of connecting to organizational energy.
