While most college students succumb to the party atmosphere and get drunk on the weekends, I choose not to drink. The amount of wine I sipped on Sunday at Mass far exceeds any amount of alcohol I consumed during my two years of college. Some people would call me crazy, others would wonder how the hell you could go to college without ever getting drunk, but for me the answer is simple. It's not worth it! It's not worth the risk of being so hungover that I'll sleep through Mass the next day, it's not worth the risk of losing control of my thoughts to the point of saying something hurtful or insulting to someone, it's not worth the risk of taking action so crazy that I would do something that goes against mine
