An Event on Global Warming There is a Chinese proverb “If you want happiness for life, help the next generation”. This is the one phrase that has always inspired me to engage in social activities. From the early age of my life, I have been interested in social service and feel satisfaction in helping humanity. I have been a member of my hometown social club since my childhood. Last year, our social club decided to organize a program on the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5th. The theme of WED 2009 was "Your planet needs you: united to fight climate change". We had the idea of ​​conducting a public awareness program on global warming with respect to the theme of fighting climate change in Narayanghat, one of the cities of Nepal.
