Can you imagine being an outcast? How about discovering that you are a child of God? How would it feel if people you don't even know tried to harm you and maybe even kill you for protecting humanity? Could you stay strong through it all? A person didn't have to imagine it, and that person was called Jesus Christ. Even though Jesus went through all these terrible things, and more, He still managed to show strength and will. These details about Jesus led to a very obvious question: What qualities does Jesus have that have helped influence people around the world? To answer this question we need to address two main points: the strength of Jesus Christ; the strength he showed in his personal life, the strength of his followers, and last but not least, his willingness to love and forgive unconditionally. Once these points are addressed, it may be clear that Jesus Christ displayed a great deal of strength and will; not only in his personal life, but also in the lives of his followers. Clearly, strength is a quality that manifested itself in the life of Jesus Christ and, through his leadership, also manifests itself in the lives of his followers. A well-known New Testament story in the Bible was titled The Garden of Gethsemane; the story is about Jesus praying to God in the garden. When he came to the garden, he fell to the ground on his knees and face, and cried out to God. Jesus was very worried about being put to death, even that he and his disciples would fall into temptation, to the point of sweating blood. Many of Jesus' disciples were there with him in the garden and prayed that he would not be crucified or even hurt, but not as extensively as Jesus did. Jesus Christ... middle of paper... the people and the Romans who killed Jesus did not believe that he had risen from the dead healthy, without any harm having been done to him. The men who killed Jesus were forgiven. Even though he didn't do anything to them, but despite all the evil they had done, Jesus forgave each of them without any question. Christ had to go through so many terrible things that he didn't deserve at all. But his willingness to die on the cross so that we could have a wonderful life is phenomenal. Furthermore, for him to suffer all the pain and harm to better us was greater than any sacrifice anyone could make in the world. The struggles and obstacles Jesus faced were horrific, and were things no one should ever have to face, but his willingness to love, forgive, and always show strength, no matter the situation, ultimately saved his life...
