Hello or “hola” in the Dominican Republic, that's a great place to start. The culture is very interesting in the Dominican Republic; Native tribes produce jewelry from bone, amber, coconut husk and horn which is very beautiful. Other artists in the Dominican Republic use clay, porcelain, hemp, and guano to make both decorative and religious figures. Bright and colorful works of art are produced in this country. In addition to art they have amazing food. The most common ingredients are rice, beans, meat and seafood. The traditional ingredients consist of yucca, plantains and potatoes; African recipes use similar ingredients. The most common food is La Bandera or “The Flag”, made with meat, rice and red beans. It is sometimes served with plantains called “tostones”. Another food is boiled green plantains known as “Mangu”. Additionally, there are wrapped turnovers cooked in banana leaves or en hojas: various stews, stews and meat dishes such as braised goat, pork or chicken rinds. Yum, I never imagined Dominican culture could be so delicious. Dominica's national source of pride and identity is baseball. Did you know that famous players like Alex Rodríguez, Pedro Martinez, Albert Pujols and Sammy Sosa all come from this country? People living in the Dominican Republic are usually mixed (73% of the time), white (16%) and black (11%). This statement gets us started with the most boring part of this article, as I call it “the numbers”. The Dominican Republic primarily speaks Spanish, as it was colonized by Spain, a Spanish-speaking country. This is why 95% of the people in the Dominican Republic are Roman Catholic. The population of this country is 10,349,741 million people; whoa, that's a lot of people! Their nationality is Dominican. Finally it's over, let's get back to middle-of-the-paper issues... like increasing the amount of jobs or preventing deforestation, soil erosion or water scarcity. I think the Dominican Republic is the most beautiful and interesting country in Latin America. I would love to visit it one day and see all the historical monuments and stuff like that. I would really like to know if Christopher Columbus was actually buried under the oldest church in the world. I think most of my classmates would probably agree with me. They have good natural resources that boost the economy. I would love to live here, because the food looks so delicious. As a country they should increase their GDPpc and GDP, perhaps making more jobs available. I am very happy to have led this country to research; it was very interesting and very fun. I wish I could be the leader of the Dominican Republic to solve all the problems and improve the government.
