Adolf Hitler was born in Brannau, Austria, on 20 April 1889 to a customs clerk and a peasant girl. Hitler joined the German Workers' Party in 1919, which soon after became known as the Nazi Party. The Nazis had a plan to make Germany the most superior country in the world. To do this, they devised a strategy known as the Final Solution.
