What do the tales of different peoples have in common? And how do they differ? I had many questions and wanted to find the answers. My research is devoted to the analysis and comparison of two tales about animals: the Russian folk tale "The Wolf and the Goat" and the English folk tale "The Wolf and the Three Kittens". Comparison of Russian and English folk tales about animals it began with an introduction to the history of fairy tales: the definition of the genre, the collection and study of fairy tales, with their classification "Grandma, tell me a story" - how many times in childhood do we say these words And usually my grandmother without holding on for long, she sits on the edge of the bed and begins to tell in a gentle voice how much we love the stories of these old wives and how her stories once again immerse themselves in the wonderful world of fantasy, where horses fly across the sky. heaven, castles grow overnight and animals speak with human voices. The structure of a fairy tale about animals is quite simple. It is a small text, simple and with an elementary plot, especially in the composition. Perhaps only in animal fairy tales does composition have some function. All parts of the story are constructed in such a way as to reveal the essence of the phenomenon at maximum speed in a short episode, to convey the nature of the relationships between the characters. The simplest story is one episode. This measure contributes to a clearer expression of the ideological content. In moral terms, there are two main ideas. The first idea is the glorification of association by which the weak triumph over the strong and the wicked. The second idea is the glorification of the victory itself, which brings moral satisfaction to the audience. Three situations are often told in stories: three times more the rooster turns into a fox, three times the wolf arrives at the goat hut. Trinity linked to the emergence of Christianity as a religion.
