Even with the Equal Pay Act of 1963, it is not very effective, benefiting women in the workforce. There are studies that show that women can do the same job as men or even better. Furthermore, more and more women obtain more degrees than men and demonstrate that they are more dedicated to that field of work. There are also large companies run by female CEOs. So what should America do to help American women achieve equal pay? America must push the Senate to vote for the Paycheck Fairness Act to ensure equal pay for women. Without that bill, American women will continue to work hard for less pay than in their country
