The people walking the streets seem constantly unemployed, many women have children. Unfortunately there is nowhere to relax in this area, which is why many people get into trouble. There are several gang groups in the area, who mark themselves and their territory with colors and graffiti. You don't see any political signs or any other type of advertising because there is usually graffiti on it or it gets removed. The two main religions in this area are Holiness or Methodist, the main race that attends these churches are African Americans. Although English is the primary language among this population, there are some who speak exclusively Spanish. All schools in this location are public schools. There are several community health concerns for the population of "North Henderson". The area is known for drug addicts. I actually saw a drug deal happen in the early afternoon. The second health concern for this population is sexually transmitted diseases.
