On the rise there are many different twists and turns that come from the events that happen. “According to a recent poll conducted by Fairleigh Dickinson University” (“Theories Prosper”), 63% of registered American voters believe in at least one political conspiracy theory. There are many different conspiracy theories in the world today, with top ten lists of conspiracy theories including the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting, the Boston Marathon bombings, and the September 11 terrorist attacks. Have you ever wondered how a conspiracy theory is born and what it takes to justify the meaning of a conspiracy theory? A conspiracy theory explains the cause of an event or phenomenon of great impact on the social, political or economic position, which normally blames two or more people, a certain group or an organization that planned the event or intends to cover up the events ( "Conspiracy Theory"). Not every event that happens in today's society is the result of a conspiracy, strange and inexplicable things happen on their own, which causes our minds to connect the dots in patterns that make us believe why such an event happened (Shermer, “Because people”). “One possible reason people believe it is because the model is comforting, directly or indirectly.
