I had agreed to meet my friend Jack, who is a total nerd who focuses too much on school to interview him. I decided to interview Jack because he had told me throughout middle school and freshman year how his parents expect so much of him, and that's why he is the way he is about school. As I asked him questions I felt the same connection I had with Karina, so I decided to ask him exactly the last question I asked Karina. The response Jack gave me was, "I like to think of this pressure as something positive, so use it to push myself every day because even though my parents expect so much from me, I know they are raising the standards because they want a better future for me” After the response I received from Jack, I remember the response I received from Karina because their situations were very similar to mine, however they reacted so differently to this pressure because they use this pressure to push themselves beyond and do more in their daily life and I think of this pressure as the thought that doesn't let me do other things in my daily life. When I got the results of the interviews and analyzed them, I realize that people of this ethnicity they may experience pressure towards their academics, but as a result I also realize that people of this ethnicity may deal with this pressure differently, for example me in a negative way and Karina and Jack in a positive way
