Overall, limiting a child's use of technology will be effective, but at the same time an easy way to help the obese child regain confidence in returning to normal weight. It is not clear that parents look at the statistics and care about their children's eating habits, which contributes to their future. Limiting parents' use of technology is a great way to start reducing childhood obesity rates. Although eating habits at school should be strengthened, this is not beneficial for the child as he or she does not eat healthily at home. Additionally, physical education programs are not required in many U.S. schools and cannot be relied upon to reduce a child's weight. In conclusion, childhood obesity has socially accepted too many people who do not care about the "problem" in which many young people are forced to deal with chronic diseases.
