Since the beginning of time technology has existed, we have seen, for example, the invention of the wheel. Since wheel technology has made progress helping men and women simplify their lives. But it didn't stop there: it continued to grow and will continue to grow year after year. The technology was quite simple when it was first created in the 4th millennium BC, but it cannot always remain the same. As technology is changing exponentially, the music industry is also changing, changing humanity's daily lives. It has changed the music industry for the better and others for the worse. It has changed by improving and making the industry more advanced than before. Technology has changed the music industry for the better through popularity, variety, and digital downloading. Technology has changed the music industry in recent years. The music had the opportunity to expand distribution to the world and music fans. But when downloading became a reality, the music industry tried to fight the change. So they attempted to maintain control of the music industry and keep it unchanged while maintaining a high profit for the sale, but this ultimately failed. What the music industry had planned was not what it wanted, in fact it got the opposite of what it wanted. Technology has also changed with online downloading. Since online downloading was used or introduced, the sale of actual CDs has declined. People have found that downloading online is cheaper and therefore have not found the need to buy CDs. Also, people have found it much easier to download online, so they don't need to waste time looking for the CD they want and then can't find...... middle of paper...... out of two , variety. With all these new changes the music couldn't stay the same, they had to spice it up a bit. The music needed that extra edge, so other artists who aren't all that well-known took the original song and remixed it. This made people more interested in listening. There were so many different options to listen to that people kept listening to random songs they found and spread them to their friends who showed them to their friends and so on. The third and final reason is digital download. Since digital downloading came into play, it has made it much easier for people to find downloads and purchase music. It caused the music industry to slowly die, but it made it easier for people to purchase music from the comfort of their own homes. These are the main reasons why technology has changed the music industry for the better. something about the future
