For the past week I have been tracking my media use. I've found that I lead a pretty repetitive tech lifestyle. On weekday mornings I start consuming media via my cell phone alarm. Why not use the normal alarm clock? Because with my cell phone I don't have to get up and out of bed in the morning: the snooze button is even closer to my newly woken fingers. After hitting the snooze button at least once, I make a point of checking out Facebook because we all know everyone is constantly updating at 5:45 every morning. After rolling out of bed, getting ready, and getting into the car for my 90-minute commute, I turned to one of the oldest forms of media, my car stereo. I listen to "Elvis Duran in the Morning" every morning. When I started my media consumption list I wasn't sure if I wanted to include radio, then I realized how much I get out of this wonderful talk show. They provide news updates, celebrity gossip (which is a guilty pleasure), pull articles from the internet - which occasionally pique my interest. The crew talks about Belvita breakfast biscuits...
