As I develop my team, I look for challenges and norms that the forming, storming, and norming phases of team development might encounter. The goal of this theory is to become a more effective team. By following these steps we can become an effective team, however the challenges and norms we will normally face most teams face. Starting with training my team, we will face some challenges as we begin to orient ourselves and become familiar with each other. With different personalities coming together, there may be some distorted perceptions that may cloud the members' judgment of each other. One challenge we face has to do with different aspects of each member's personality and skills and defining the terms of what needs to happen when making decisions as a team. This first phase is crucial because of how you get to know the people you will be working with and recognize everyone's goals to see if you are all compatible; It's like building a puzzle. As heartbreaking as it may seem, creative minds can sometimes make great decisions and other times they can clash and unfortunately waste time when trying to make decisions to get the job done. The storm phase is when some conflicts begin to arise in the team as we search for solutions. There will be a confrontation as team members look at themselves as individuals against
