Topic > Compare and contrast Othello and O - 1183

They have many of the same motives, personality traits, and plans. In an attempt to make the film "O" slightly different from the original Othello only a few small details have changed. Most of them involve the new generation, thus getting people from this generation to watch or be interested. The motivations, personalities, and plans of Iago and Hugo are so similar that you can tell they are the same newly remade character. Their brains and personalities are the same, they are just put into different scenarios which leads to why they have subtle differences. It is shown by the antagonist that "O" is a good interpretation of the original Othello. “O” should be watched after reading the original work for a better understanding of the characters or a new way of looking at them
