There is crime all over the world and it has been a problem for years. There are different types of punishment for different crimes that occur. The death penalty is a punishment used for certain crimes. However, the death penalty is not used enough. Any man or woman who commits murder, rape or molestation should automatically receive the death penalty. One of the reasons the death penalty isn't used enough is because it comes from everyone's tax dollars. Death row should be funded by the person being punished and the government. Americans should not be penalized for a punishment meant for someone else. They should be the ones to deal with it. Whatever they can't pay, the government should pay. The death penalty shouldn't be so bad. The Fifth Amendment to the Constitution states: "No person shall be held to answer for a capital or otherwise infamous crime, except upon presentation or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when actually serving in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subjected for the same offense to be twice put in danger of life or limb, nor be compelled to commit any crime against himself, nor be deprived of life , of liberty or property without due process of law, nor shall private property be confiscated for public use without just compensation; William D. Richardson states: "[F]ar from supporting the position advocated by opponents of the death penalty, the Fifth Amendment can be read as evidence that the Founders inherently supported the death penalty...If a person can never be deprived of life by the state, why is the 'without due process of law' clause necessary?...Including a sentence that...... middle of paper ......and public If it is a prisoner that many people want to go and would like to see go, hanging is a good method. There are different forms of execution and depending on the state it depends on how they agree. However this shouldn't be the case, they should all be used but depending on the extent of the crime it depends on the method used. The families of the deceased or tortured deserve some resentment. Execution eliminates horrible people and opens up space in prisons for lower-level state inmates. The death penalty should be awarded to any man or woman who commits murder, rape or molestation.
