In the same scene, a character called Mc Crea, the current captain of the ship, is introduced, along with a robotic autopilot, AUTO, known as the "bad boy" “in the movie. The captain leaves most of the ship's operations under the control of his robotic autopilot, AUTO. The film illustrates that advanced technology in the future can be very convenient but can also be very dangerous because it leads to effects such as the takeover of the world by robots and also high dependence on technology where humans no longer need to work. When the plant is brought to the captain, Wall-E is damaged and partially crushed by the CAR when Wall-E tries to protect the plant from destruction. EVE as the heroine quickly sends Wall-E and the entire crew back to Earth so that humans can restore the planet and also save Wall-E. The film depicts how robots can reveal its directive and mutiny phase when not properly controlled by humans. “The film also portrays the ideological exchange contained in the diegesis and thus prevents the audience from identifying the film itself as ideological” -Daniele A.
