As we seek to understand why God has allowed violence, aggression, and pain to exist in our world. In attempting to answer this question, we should still admit that people have been given freedom of choice, a choice between good and evil. Without it life would be meaningless. God wants us to act righteously, but it is up to people to decide whether to follow God's will or not. There are philosophers who think that evil and good are two forces with equal power. I think for the most part people are kind, because they were created in the likeness of God. In our hearts we approve of virtue and reject corruption. However, the discussion of this topic will almost never succeed in eliminating the pain and suffering from our world, soaked in the tears of history. Everyone knows the consequences of evil. I will continue to maintain that life's calamities will strengthen the human spirit and pray that the next generations will not repeat our mistakes as well as the mistakes of their ancestors. I am optimistic and think it is important to focus on the honorable actions we can take now, because there is no point in dwelling on events in the past that were so destructive at the time, they cannot be changed but can possibly be forgiven by actions taken later
