A social worker has a very important job. Social workers help children and families who need food, shelter and healthcare. They help children have a better future. There are many different types of social work. There are social workers for mental health, for children and families, for elementary and high schools. Being a social worker has advantages. An example is that social workers manage to save children. They take the child or children out of an abusive home, out of climate conditions that involve mental or physical abuse. Social workers also find ways to help the family if they have an illness and cannot care for the child or children, or have a drug or alcohol problem and are not fit to care for the child or children. The social worker decides whether the home is a safe environment in which the child can grow into a young adult. Also, when you become a social worker, there are times when the child needs to be placed in foster care when the parents are not fit to care for the child. When you place a child in foster care, they will be given a safe place to live and blossom into a young adult. It also gives them hope. Hope for a better life and a better future. It also gives them a sense of security, knowing that they will be safe from their parents never hurting them again. One of the challenges of being a social worker is stepping in and helping solve the problem. Social workers must help the child if he is being abused or neglected at home. Or even if the house is simply not suitable for living in. They need help to feel safe and the possibility of a better future. If the time ever arises, you may need to take action. If after leaving the home, the social worker believes that you completely… middle of paper… or know everything there is to know about this company and how it operates.
