If the Internet is filled with so much information, it should be accompanied by a caution sign warning people that it could be affecting and rewiring their brains. The Internet/Google have reprogrammed the brain without the person actually knowing it. The Internet is such a powerful tool that controls people and changes brains. It changed your brain to do things differently, like think and work differently. The Internet is negatively affecting the human brain by changing the way people think, the way they read and creating memory problems. Unfortunately, the Internet is no longer an option but a necessity to fight in today's society and indeed should be used if necessary. However, this does not mean that people should take the Internet for granted and risk their brain health simply because it contains any kind of information, truth or lie. Google is the most popular and used search engine in the world. It is used by so many people every day because there are 3.5 billion searches per day. However, people don't know that it has affected their brain. Google has been around since 1998 and the Internet since 1989. Over the years, people stopped depending on books, articles and newspapers for information and started relying on the Internet/Google for answers. Before, people thought about how and where they would get the information they needed. It took hours and days of constant research into things like books. Unfortunately, Google and the Internet have become so easy for people to use that it has become a natural instinct to automatically turn to Google when they are lost or confused. In fact, it is too easy to find what you are looking for online that Internet users d...... middle of paper ......n what they should do every day and that is why brains are slowly being reprogrammed and influencing the way people are and the way they think. It is true that the Internet is necessary but is it good for the brain? It's only been more than two decades since the advent of the Internet and the human brain has already been affected. It's a controversial topic that many people can go on and on and disagree or agree with, but if people fail to see that the Internet is ruining the intelligence and creativity in our brains, it will begin to manifest in generations that will affect the economy due to poor choices made with small and limited brains. These problems that have only been revealed will worsen and new effects will appear. People should know how much is enough and when it is necessary, otherwise nothing else can be done to keep the brain healthy and functioning properly.
