Topic > The problem is the political party divide - 1213

The biggest problem in America today is that the party line has been drawn across our lives, drawn down the center of the nation, drawn through our homes and families. Instead of Republicans and Democrats agreeing on a vision of America but disagreeing on the means to achieve it, the two parties point fingers, insult their opponents, and declare the other side unpatriotic. Republicans run on the platform “Democrats will destroy America,” while Democrats do virtually nothing, proud of not being Republicans. And we, the people, call them leaders. We, the people, elected them. We, the people, make his job easier because we, the people he has sworn to serve, do not question him. And why not? Why don't we question the status quo? Why do millions of angry Americans, the silent majority, do nothing? Because we have been conditioned to remain silent by federally sponsored, color-coded alarmism.
