I chose the career of Mechanical Engineering for this research paper. The reason I chose this career is because I am very interested in prototyping, designing and building machines and other types of tools that we use in our daily lives. Mechanical engineers make people's lives better and easier. I find this interesting and inspires me to become one of them. This is why I choose this profession for my research paper. For this article I will cover five topics. These topics are:1. High School and College Requirements2. What is the graduation rate in an engineering course at a top engineering university3. How difficult is it to get a successful job as an engineer4. Average working hours of an engineer5. Are there benefits for engineers? The reason I chose these as the topics I will research is because they are very important to know before undertaking any work. Research on these five topics also helps you choose the right courses in high schools that will get you into colleges with a better education. This in turn will help you find a job once you graduate. The second topic concerns which universities you have the best chance of graduating from and therefore finding a job. These topics are all very important and so I will go into further detail on each topic. This gives me and the reader a greater understanding of what they would be in for if they ever decided to start a career in this field. The first topic I will talk about is high school requirements. To enter a university you must have taken the following courses, completed with at least 60% but the recommended average is 85%. These courses are Pre-Calculus Mathematics, Chemistry… half paper… all aspects of mechanical engineering are very interesting. Overall I think choosing mechanical engineering for this research paper was a good idea because I learned a lot of things about the career that could help me in the future if I want to become an engineer.
