Taking away the option of online classes from first-semester students would not be a wise decision. Online classes could increase student participation compared to an in-person class. Chattahoochee Tech's low price will still be an advantage. If students are allowed to take online classes right from the start, this will be a key feature because students can save a large amount of money from online classes. Online education for new students will bring numerous benefits that will help a student be more productive with their time or help a student take the time to learn the material at their own pace. Chattahoochee Technical College should not prevent students from taking online courses in the first semester for all of these reasons. There are many limitations that would suit students, but taking away the ability to enroll in online classes in the first semester is unnecessary and will prevent Chattahoochee Tech from being the great school it is.
