An individual can choose whether they want a college or graduate degree, but it is better to have more education to be able to get a job. The more education an individual has could mean higher earnings (Career Cruising). According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, some of the classes you will need to take in college are anatomy, chemistry, nutrition, psychology, and nursing theory. Nursing is one of the fastest growing occupations in the United States and is expected to increase 26% between the years 2010 and 2020 (Nursing School Programs). There are three different types of nurses; a licensed practical nurse, a licensed practical nurse, and a registered nurse.
